Community Competition!

A new mod needs a new look, who better to design the interface? None other than you guys n gals!

Now, how do you got about this?

Well its simple, all you have to do is modify the files for Freelancers HUD (Heads Up Display) and Menu buttons etc.

"But wait! I don't know how to mod! :(" FEAR NOT! I have taken the liberty of writing a tutorial on WHICH files to edit and how to get the textures out and edit them (as well as important information on some things)

"AWESOME, but where are all the files?" I need a day or so to arrange the files and proof read the tutorial, so its as easy as possible to understand!

"I already know how to edit the HUD, can i start now?" I guess the answer is yes!

The winner will be decided by the judges vote, The winner will have their HUD design released in the War-Torn mod when we release the PUBLIC BETA!

Now for the people that make it to the "semi-finals" If they come either second, third or fourth, their designs will be placed into a theme pack which will be available for download as an extra for War-Torn so you can choose a interface to suit you.

You may think these are the same kind of prizes, in a way yes they are, but the winner will have their work featured in all advertising materials, print screens etc. Now, you've all seen the quality we are aiming for on this, we hope that you guys n gals will produce some QUALITY stuff to show off your skills (you don't need to be AWESOME at photoshop or anything), as long as you put the time in, you will produce good stuff ^^

so watch this thread in the next few days for an update :)

GOOD LUCK!
