I think, don't need to explain much... Mod is released!

I started this project in late 2007, but all those years I've been busy because of getting education. So, time is come to finish the project!

Approximately in 2005 or 2006 I first time seen "combine depot" concept-art, and this picture amaze me. It looks so mysterious and atmospheric, and I become addicted of this idea.
I started to search maps, mods about this theme, but I didn't find nothing interesting. So, later I made a decision - to create this location.

So, this is it! Download files, install, and play! Don't forget to install HiRes textures pack!

Congratulations for getting it done!

I played both maps and must say, it's not very easy. It's not obvious how to enter the submarine, I also had some bugs were I just could move around the submarine by using duck jumps.

You did an awesome job on recreating the old depot :)

It was not clear where to go or what to do in most places. If not for the comment pointing out you need to go into the submarine, I might still be trying to crouch under it and go to the right. I could clip through it in two places. Spoiler: The first few doors could not be gravity-gunned, but some could; this sort of inconsistency only serves to confuse. The beams needed to be hit five or six times, so I initially thought that was not the right thing to do. Sometimes antlions would spawn when I was on the floor with pebbles, sometimes not. I wasn't sure if I had to kill the antlion guard, run past it, or try to get it to charge into and break down a wall. I manged to slide along the wrong side of the ship between it and the rocks, but then couldn't get back onto it. The part with the seesaw ramp had a hole in the world down to the left. It looked like a small long pipe on the right side could be climbed up, so I spent a while trying to figure out how to get to it. I found I could run along the top of the gate from the courtyard, so I may have been able to get past it without opening it (I didn't try as I had no idea I needed to go there until after it opened.)

Valve maps often use subtle hints with lighting to show the player where to go next. Falling debris, sounds, or movement might make a payer look up.

Had some cool and interesting stuff that I haven't seen before. Short but fun, and I didn't encounter any bugs. That one headcrab was pretty scary too!

Omg that was awesome!! The combine have really sucked up all the water from the oceans for there machines. And submarine was a bit creepy with the total blackness and the skeletons.

I have to say it's hard to find the path, figure how to get inside the submarine and get out was a pain.

This is one of the most beautiful works I've seen, the heartbreaking, abandoned, empty, dry atmosphere, it's too good a combination, congratulations for the work, effort and dedication on the part of the creator of the mod. 👓📂
