The spiritual successor to the now defunct Carnivores Reloaded, Carnivores+ is a partial conversion mod for Carnivores 2 whose goal is to recreate the first Carnivores game on the Carnivores 2 engine. Its goal is not only to recreate the assets, looks and atmosphere of the original game on the more advanced engine, but also to extend on the concepts of the original while remaining true to the spirit of what made Carnivores great. The mod adds new terrain to Carnivores' original maps, entirely new areas never seen before and new huntable and ambient animals to the roster to supplement the old classics.

Description

Thank you for finishing this. I've been using the Reloaded version of this map for a while now. Will you be doing the Pyramids of Shmu-Hadron as well?

You're welcome!

As for Shmu-Hadron, I'm not sure yet. I started working on it a while back but found myself disliking the layout. I'd probably make a whole new heightmap if I resumed work on it, and heightmap creation/editing is something I still need some practice getting down.

I know that someone's working on their own take of Shmu-Hadron for a different mod, but I don't know when that's going to be released. Who knows, maybe I'll end up releasing a version of the map beforehand, but I wouldn't count on it.

No, I am not Poharex. I have them credited because they created the heightmap and serval new objects that are present on the map.

It’s very interesting this map, have you worked in the carnivores community before? It seems you have a pretty good grasp of what you’re doing.
