Hello everyone, main news is that you can download from moddb.com Cantrell city demo version and english patch for Cantrell city demo 1.0cz (including guide how to install it). Next, I have added some new screens from Cantrell city, which shows new city districts and city life. You can also see new buildings and cars. And at last, there is a render, promo image, of two bassebal bats. In Cantrell city there will be two bats, one wooden (with lower damage) and one aluminium (with bigger damage). Overall the mod will have more weapons and guns, then original Mafia. Actually we work on some new missions and car models. Demo version and more info on mod site here.

Yes, missions will have also cutscenes, not so much as original Mafia, but will. Demo including one mission and intro, try it!
Is it possible to make the main caracter buy clothes, cars, safehouses, even rob banks
Yes, it is and in Cantll city you can buy new clothes and then for example policemen will do not search you. Or you can buy new cars and maybe a little bit tune them. It will also has radio (demo included) and many other scripts and things which you will enjoy when playing CC.
Sorry my inconvenience, but I've seen a lot of mods that are never released, getting dead, so could you give us a release date or something?
