As is pretty evident from the lack of updates here, this mod is pretty much dead. But...
The good news is that another BZ2 modder named Coxxon (who made the Uler mod) is working on his own version of a BZ2 HD mod.

Unfortunately for me, I was too busy over the last year with University to do anything after QF2.
Now that I'm finally done with that, I have decided to make a sort-of-sequel game to QF2 in Unreal Engine 4.
QF3 (working title) will be a new Battlezone style game set in its own universe.
