This map-pack ultimately makes up for what's lacking in EA's new Battlefront. I plan on recreating EA's maps but Reimagined for Battlefront 2. These recreations are far from exact, but surely will introduce something you've never played before in Battlefront 2. Perhaps battling near a RIVER on Sullust? Or in the rocky canyons of Tatooine, fending off an Imperial offensive? Maybe even going toe-to-toe with Darth Vader's "Executor" flagship! There are no limits so long as anyone is willing to help! I got the basics of making a map down, but would love to work with some very experienced modders to create this map-pack. Comment if you are interested in joining the development team or know how to do the following.. -Add BFX sides to a map -port your maps from your data_BLAH folder into a distributable -port .obj files into compatibility with BF2

BF2 Reimagined is very much alive, but far from completion.

So far, I have gotten REALLY far on this map.. However, it is FAR from done.. Textures need tweaking, maybe add an AT-ST or two..
map's name is Tatooine: Crackdown In The Canyon. Like I commented earlier, I have yet to figure out how one may upload a map if they cannot find it in their addon folder.. Once that's figured out, the map will be up for an OPEN BETA! It's alot for my first working map, I can tell you that.. Just check out my Screenshots.. flying vehicles, almost random Spawnpoints, and I managed to modify the .lua to read for BFX sides in place of the stock, plain-jane sides. I also plan on adding a Custom Load Screen for every map in the project.. even though I am relatively new to modding I know what I want out of my mods and what you guys as fellow Battlefront fans expect. I am pushing the boundaries and going beyond what a normal map should have. I've played EA's Battlefront.. It's alright, but it's so laggy on my fossil 2008 Sony Vaio.. so the lacking of being able to enjoy that game is what has really forced my hand to do this. Plus, I know for a fact that this will be done well before Frontwire's Galaxy In Turmoil, so this will be a good hold-me-over. As people have come to request, I will now heavily consider adding the Clone Wars BFX sides to the scenario. Maybe even some Empire or Rebels VS Droid action on Geonosis. Like I've said, there are no limits with this mod. Well except my limited experience but tooling around in ZeroEditor really helps as does with modding .lua's and whatnot. I hope this becomes something that Battlefront fans will revere as one of the best mods ever, and that I can actually finish this mod in a timely manner. I hope all is well for whomever reads of this article, and May The Force be with You!
