Assault for UT3 is a mod that recreates Assault gametype from UT2004.
This mod is currently in alpha state.

Since I'm working in the game industry (full-time job, so quite busy), I don't have time to continue working on this project only on my own...
So basically I'm not going to continue this mod, unless someone is interested and wants to create a team and gather some mappers, then I'm ready to join and share my work with that person.
About the mod:
The core of the game is there, it's currently possible to create a map with some basic objectives and play. The AI is buggy, there are probably replication/network issues to fix (so far I've only played locally), and some objectives are missing (but this is the 'easy' part :p).
I think that with a good team, made of a team leader (so that's the person I'm looking for), one or two scripters (including myself), one 2D/3D artist (here I could help) and 2-3 (or more) mappers, this mod could be finished in less than 6 months.
So that's it, if you are interested, or if you know people that could be interested, contact me !

its dead?

A friend joined me for a moment to create maps, but he found a job too, so he quit...
On the other hand, the game (UT3) itself don't seem to be as popular as UT2004 was, and maybe this mod arrives too late !? I don't know, just prove me I'm wrong!

Assault and TDM were great on the UT`99 engine.. however it's a bit old hat now.. and doesn't seem to be further developed.
Something to certainly keep an eye out on if you're a UT (Unreal Tournament) FAN is the predecessor for Tactical Ops.
As good graphics as Modern Warfare 2... and it's completely FREE!!! (built on the UT3 UDK engine)

yeah good work assault was my favorite in ut2004 keep it up and make cool missions. ;)
uhhm well... Warfare IS assault ... it is actually exactly the same exept for the
HUD
so...
i DONT see a point in this mod
You have never played assault -.-.... warfare and assault are two completely different gametypes
the warfare gamemode is the equal to the onslaught of UT 2004
if you guys have the UT99 map with the boat, the attackers need to take over, then you have me as a downloader, loved that map :D
