This is so freaking *COOL!* It almost felt like an offical DLC level! 😃👌
Hi, thank you for your flattering review! We tried our best.
I thought it was pretty cool too! A bit challenging with some interesting level design, I like the arenas with the rageboxes and using the bishops like snipers. Felt like there were a good amount of secrets to find too.
A few issues I noticed:
1. It's a bit laggy most of the time and runs at low FPS.
2. There's a config.cfg file included and it overwrites my normal settings. Not sure if you need that in there but you might want to get rid of it if you don't.
3. On the final map in the main square, the set of doors to the left has two doors in the same spot so it doesn't open properly.
4. There were times where no music was playing for a while, not sure if that's intentional. Seemed to happen later in the second and third maps.
Looking forward to the next chapter!
In the future, we will release a corrected demo version, and a little later, 1 chapter of a series of chess levels.
This is honestly extremely exciting for me. I always comb through nexus and moddb to see if any new mods, or updates, pop up for Alice and i'm very happy to see an extension to one of my all time fave games! [In fact I remember there being an abandoned project that had videos on YT i think they were called the nightmare chronicles.]
I can't wait to play it [I'm downloading it right now and havent had a chance to look at the files yet], but I was wondering if there is any compatibility with *mostly* texture mods, like madly enhanced or more specifically omni-koresh's HD texture mod, which currently has changes to UI, the menu, reshade and has 'overkill'.
Greetings! At the moment, this add-on is compatible with any graphics mods. If you like modifications to Alice, then wait, this month we will release a new addition!
I thought this game didn't have map editing support?
We managed to do this, we were able to configure NetRadiant to work.
