End Of First Major Version
Today I just published the last release for fakeout v1. After the addition of sound effects in this most recent release I felt this would be a good time to let this project rest for a while. Not to say that I won't come back and continue develop of the game some time in the future, but I'd like some time away for a while to personally grow making different games.

Apparently I've been working on fakeout for 3 months now. I'm very proud to have something so functional after such a short span of time. Now I've got A LOT of room to grow artistically and technically but this project has really shown me that I can actually make a game.

If you are interested you can checkout the version HERE on the archive article, or wait until the release post gets fully published later today. Please let me know if you have an feedback about the game, or suggestions on how I can improve for the next project!

New Project
Now that 3 months have pasted I am now starting to feel like this would be a good time to move onto a new project. I'd like to keep the same kind of mindset and schedule that I had with fakeout since it went so well. That would involve working on a new project for 3 months, while doing a few weekend game jams on the side. This balance seems to allow plenty of room for trying new things, improving art creation techniques, fortifying engine technology, and growing game mechanics.

With all of that being said, I'd like to start brainstorming this weekend for a new game to start on. Currently I'm thinking something less arcading, and deeper. That will probably result in a adventure game of some sort, but with a focus on gameplay/world design instead of narrative and backstory. I'll be certain to share whenever some of this stuff has been decided.

Thanks for checking in!
