heard of that guy from CNC paradise who keeps babbling about how many flaws the CNC series has, how horribly westwood has done their, and how EA made it better for the CNC series? if yes, then you probably know him. if no, then i am not afraid to shout to the world the name of the unrelenting troll who started flaming westwood and claiming he is more mature in thought than everyone else in the group. meet PsychoticLoner, the troll who has mental problems even a psychiatrist cannot handle.
this guy always says WW and CNC is horrible and overrated, that tiberium was set in a colorless setting, that EA did a better job than WW (despite the fact that EA made a fail ending with CNC). i totally DO NOT agree with him. WW is great. WW made CNC. without WW there would be no CNC. who else in their time had the same idea? who else in their time who played CNC would think about the flaws of the game rather than the memorable and nostalgic experiences with tiberian dawn and tiberian sun? no one would, because WW made a very good job that it prevents players from even thinking for a second of the flaws of the game, yet this Psychotic asshole guy says "WW is overrated. WW CNC has millions of flaws. tiberium is set in a colorless lifeless and stale setting etc. etc.". WHATEVER. the guy obviously never thought of how CNC started in the first place. or maybe he's played world in conflict and compare it with CNC, which apparently is what's happening with him.
westwood started it all, so why would they be overrated? EA only continued their job yet ended up in failure to satisfy the fan's needs (in fact i think EA should be the one to have a huge nameplate with the word overrated on it).
Unless you ever played Red Alert 1 and Tiberium Dawn (and I mean really play them other than just looking at screenshots and thinking you played them), I have to point that Red Alert is basicly a commercial mod of TD. Similar faction calculus (tricky speedster vs tank-heavy brute force) and heck, both games even share a good bunch of units.
Besides, Psychotic Loner is a good friend of me so I wont accept you deriding him as an "*******" and I suggest YOU go see a psychatric hopstial because you obviously are incapable of understanding what a "troll" is and you are overreacting like the 15year old that you, according to your profile, are.
Going on with the former thought, in case you did not notice the fanbase is NEVER pleased because most of it is made up of arrogant pricks like you. The fans wanted more about Nod - they got KW and complained. They also wanted Titans and Wolverines back - same case and same complains. The fans wanted a new Red Alert and complained because unlike TW which followed TD, RA3 came in over RA2's door step. THEN the fans wanted something new to the formula. They got TT and complained because its too different. And those people entitle themselves as "true CnC fans"? I beg to differ.
If they can complain so much, they could also put that energy instead into being productive and ask to help out on ambitious mods.
One last thought: EVERYBODY on the internet has a right to their own opinion if said opinion is based on facts and not bias. Most of the fanbase' opinion IS based on bias (WW is good, EA is the devil's love slave). Guess what? That's not how it works.
if you think i am making a mistake, i do apologize. it is just all the comments psychotic loner has been making lately about WW and EA are all negative, and let's face it the community looks on the bright side of the spectrum. and i do know both corporations are doing their jobs. CNC4 was made by EA because they did not get the expected impression they were expecting from TW/KW. i do know it's not that they wanted to ruin this and ruin that.
and also, i do make mistakes so i'd accept correction over destructive criticism thank you.
