I am a Spanish IT student... always liked drawing, design, programming, 3D modeling, webcrafting and translate. Creative and out-the-box thinker... Currently I'm helping to develop Star Wars Conquest, a total conversion for the indie game WarRider, also known as Mount&Blade; :P And yeah, I did the SWC profile design... [See at News Zone]

STAR WARS CONQUEST | PROFILE DESIGN

Hi there, as many people asked about the SWC profile code... here is.. it uses a medium hacked div expanded and fixed image background, the main container is a simple CSS styled DIV with custom align:

html4strict code:
<img src="http://i.imagehost.org/0013/swcbg.jpg" alt="" width="1024" height="768" style="z-index: -8; left: 0px; margin: 0px; overflow: hidden; width: 100%; background-repeat: repeat-y; position: fixed; top: 0px; height: 100%; border: 0px none; padding: 0px;" />

<div class="table" style="margin-top: -33px; background: url(http://i.imagehost.org/0433/swc_desc_bg.jpg) repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent; width: 940px; position: relative; height: 235px;"><div style="left: 54px; width: 806px; color: #ffffff; line-height: 24px; position: absolute; top: 53px; height: 137px; text-align: justify; padding: 8px;"><strong><span style="color: #dd4a21;"><span style="color: #ffffff;">Star Wars Conquest is a Mount&amp;Blade module that transforms a medieval world in to the far, far away galaxy... with the same premises that the original game, this module offers a open sandbox where the player can do anything that he wants. Based on a Galaxy map and hundreds of planets. </span></span></strong><a href="http://mbx.streetofeyes.com/index.php/board,57.0.html" target="_blank" title="Report Bugs on our Forum..."><img src="http://i.imagehost.org/0564/bugs_forum.png" alt="" width="238" style="top: 104px; height: 14px;" /></a><a href="http://www.mbrepository.com/file.php?id=809" target="_blank" title="Download the Latest Beta..."><img src="http://i.imagehost.org/0270/dnwld_latest_beta.png" alt="" width="242" class="bigletter" style="top: 118px; height: 23px;" /></a>            <a href="https://www.moddb.com/mods/swconquest/images" target="_self" title="Visit the Gallery..."><img src="http://d.imagehost.org/0168/visit_gallery.png" alt="" width="157" height="14" /></a> </div>

<a href="http://firefox.com" target="_blank" title="Better with Firefox..."><img src="http://www.technokyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Firefox-icon.png" alt="" align="RIGHT" style="top: 0px; height: 39px; left: 300px; width: 39px;" /></a><a href="https://twitter.com/swconquest" target="_blank" title="Our Twitter"><img src="http://j.imagehost.org/0007/twitter.png" alt="" align="RIGHT" style="top: 128px; height: 39px; left: 300px; width: 39px;" /></a></div>

Depends the level of polishment we want to reach. Once we play it and feel that everything is on position and ready... I'll upload it for you.

It's more qualitative than quantitative. If we work fast will be ready soon. If not. A couple months more.

Sorry but I don't want to lie you. I know perfectly the sensation and all those frustration accumulated along the time.

:)

Thank you very much for releasing this information! I was unfamiliar with HTML at all, and the current ModDB tutorial really lacks the object lesson. Be sure I won't be stealing your concept, I just needed an example code, to start learning the language.
