A small village such as Calmwood needs some freshly-picked apples in a basket to fulfill the idyllic appearance. I believe apple-picking resembles the ominous serenity of a summer in a smaller village. I thought it could be a good idea to enforce this
The textures of the apples and the basket are my favorite textures so far.
For the apples I used a free texture program called MapZone. In Mapzone you can create a tileable texture, specular(shinyness) and normal maps from scratch.
Not so much to say about the basket, used a good base and a few different grunge maps for some color differences and textures.
