And so I've gotten back to working on the Carnivores Area Editing software. My first achievement in under a minute was successfully letting users edit the textures of the terrain ;)
On my list of things to get working is:
-Radius painting of terrain, used to raise/edit larger areas of terrain.
-Flag editing
-More robust height editing
-Scenery placement
-Volumetric fog
-Scenery Shadows
-Water reflections
