I am the designer, programmer, and marketer behind JPN Burst, a game where you learn how to type in Japanese.

In Tetris 99, after you win or lose, you get a little leaderboard, right? There are tons of English names and Japanese names. Well, if you played and beat my game, JPN BURST, you'd be able to read those Japanese usernames!

If you are into anime or manga, your level of understanding of the Japanese world gets a +1. You're not just glossing over it anymore, you are WOKE.

But the problem is that studying is boring. Rosetta Stone. Duolingo. Memrise. They're not engaging. People try them every day and drop them in the very next. Why? I don't know. I dropped it and I'm trying to get back into them.

This is my solution. I'm building a small project that focuses on just Japanese and I'm putting it on a platform that you go to every day: Steam. You're going to see my game on your Steam library. You're going to see "Hiragana Typer" in your Steam trophy case.

It's going to have RPG elements. It's going to feel like real progress. It's just a matter of time.

Play JPN Burst. In Early Access.
