There's so many live-action remakes for anime coming up. Astro Boy, Speed Racer, Gatchaman, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Dragonball Z -- even the recently announced AKIRA live-action film with Leonardo DiCaprio himself set to produce. It seems that ever since Transformers was announced, movie producers have been scrambling to pick up any and all popular licenses in the anime world to give the big-screen treatment.
