Making props for our game
How we do it at EQS
- Find a design concept usually a picture or live model.
- We model our props first. Keeping a very close attention to polygon count and proportion of the prop for better optimization.
- Texturing is the fun part and the most important part is UV because it effects the lighting and the irresolution of the texture.
- Using snipping tool we take a snapshot of the finished prop and post it on Trello for approval.
- After being approved the prop is ready to be used by the level designer.
