WARMONGER56: I have been trying out and playing war games sense the late 90's, until I found Empire Total War in 2012. After finding ETW I threw every thing aside and that's the only war game I have cared anything about playing sense. I started with ETW, then NTW, and finally Rome 2. When I made it back to ETW I was looking for mod site that modded ETW, when I found Mod db. I started downloading mods to add to my gaming experience, which satisfied me for a while. I joined mod db community in 2020 and the rest is history. I released my first mod in 2021 and have never looked back. Now that I am retired, I mod 8 hrs a day 6 days a week. I plan to mod ETW mods until I pass from this world. My main goal here is to create mods that people can download and get more enjoyment out of play Empire Total War. I hope you enjoyed your stay on my mod page and happy gaming from WARMONGER56.

1. If you don't have Model Manager 1.5 you can download it here.

2. The Path you need to use is C/ Program Files x86/ Steam / Steam Apps / Common / Empire Total War / data. WM56 ETW 1700S MOD has 25 files for download. Click on the WM56 MOD preview PICTURE, open my mod page. When the page opens, go to the right side of the page and scroll down until you see addons and click on the number 25 to the right of addons. When the page open you will see all the addons that are for download on the left side of the page. Scroll down and pick which addons you want to download.

3. Now unzip the mod you just downloaded and put your new model pack files in C/ Program Files x86/ Steam / Steam Apps / Common / Empire Total War / data.

4. Open the MM 1.5, on the right side of the screen below the launch button, put a checkmark in the white square box that says: show all pack types and below that put a checkmark in the white box that says: show all vanilla conflicts and wait on a list of files to appear on the left side of the screen. Now! uncheck both white boxes on the right and wait on the list of pack files to appear on the left side of the screen. The mod pack files that you downloaded from me will have a WM56 at the beginning of the file name. Put a checkmark in the white box next to each file that starts with WM56. Go to the right side of the screen below the launch button and give the mod a name like WM56 ETW 1700S MOD and click save. now click on the launch button and the game will load.

4A. The two main reasons I use the model MM 1.5 to install and load ETW is that 1. It creates the script file for you, so you don't ever have to mess with script files. 2. you can place as many mod pack files to other mods as you want as long as you repeat the instructions above for each mod that you install with MM 1.5. For example: Say you have two mods installed and you save both mods in MM 1.5 , all you have to do is choose which mod you want to play and the MM 1.5 will load and all you have to do is click launch button. You can't get any easier then that.

5. WM56 ETW 1700S MAPS : When you download and unzip this file you will see a boot .pack put it in your data folder and if you want to keep the old boot pack just make a new folder in data files and name it old or original Pack files and put it in C/ Program Files x86/ Steam / Steam Apps / Common / Empire Total War / data. The other file you will see is the WM56 ETW 1700S MAPS file. Open it and you will see ESF 10 Million file, open this file and you will see a file named campaigns. If you want to save the old file just put it in the same folder with the old pack files in Empire Total War / data. Now just copy and paste the new campaigns folder in Empire Total War / data. Now open the WM56 ETW 1700S MAPS file and you will see campaign maps file. To save the old or original maps put the file in your old or original pack files folder in Empire Total War / data. Now copy and paste the new campaign maps file to Empire Total War / data. Now all files are installed and now it is time to launch the 1700S mod with the model manager 1.5 mm1.5 for short.
