Chrysalis awoke in the Everfree forest, bruised and scratched from her recent failure of capturing Canterlot. She looked around, for any signs of her children. Nothing moved, it was quiet, too quiet.. She silently planned her new assault on the palace. How she needed to breed a bigger and stronger army for next time. Chrysalis the Queen of the Changelings rose to her hooves, slightly leaning forward with a stab of pain. She was hurt.. badly.. She weakly headed North, in the direction of ponyville, her inborn instincts picking up great amounts of love.Chrysalis barely made it out onto the road, falling over from the pain and slipping into unconsiousness. When she was almost out, she heard a female voice, so calming and lovely. After that it all went dark.. It seemed like forever she was stuck in a nightmare, this nightmare was more of a dream, but Chrysalis had bad feelings for what would happen, this nightmare was about a tall being, not of any kind of animal shes ever seen, he was made of many different animal parts; one arm was an eagle claw, the other was a lions paw, he had a set of odd shaped eyes, one smaller, the other bigger, and one distinctive fang, that gave him a funny, yet cute look.
