First off, they are very loud. And when I mean very loud, I don't mean going into a mall shouting "HEY GUYS! WATCH MLP! WATCH IT! IT'S SO GOOD!" kind of loud, I mean going into an airport covered in MLP merchandise blowing a fucking trumpet and screaming the MLP theme tune while screaming "PONY POWER LOVE AND TOLERATE! IF YOU HATE IT FUCK YOU ALL!" while going up to people and shoving merch into their luggage. That's what they do. They force it on you, they literally force it. For example: Forum posts. A guy says "Hey, can someone help me with this game? I'm stuck on a level" and a ponyfag comes up with 4 fucking .gif signatures and a pony avatar/profile picture and says "I bet Pinkie Pie knows, do you? :D" and then more ponyfags from another forum raid the post and start fucking roleplaying. And to add insult to injury, KIDS. CHILDREN are now taking to this fandom, not because they truly like it, it's because they want to fit in with their friends who are also bronies. Apparently, a 10 year old boy tried to hang himself for being bullied at school for liking MLP. I feel sorry for him, but seriously, how would they know? Unless... He was parading himself as a brony! It's the only way. That, or someone told the bullies. They showed a picture of the kid in hospital cuddling 4 fucking pony plushies while having pony dolls stacked on a shelf next to him, like he NEEDED them to be alive. And that's another thing, they're so melodramatic. They act like EVERY FUCKING MINUTE of each episode is filled with drama and comedy and sadness. IT'S A FUCKING KIDS SHOW! KIDS SHOWS DO NOT HAVE DRAMA! What's next, some spongebob fan's going to cry because Patrick got hurt? Aww. NO.
Right, 2nd reason. The only thing they can do is troll, honestly. That's the only rewarding thing about them, they're good trolls. That's all.
3rd and final reason is summed up in one sentance: Original Characters. They think that they're SOOOO good at art and drawing that they have an excuse to post this crap. Here's an example: Fc00.deviantart.net As you can see, this person cannot recreate their own characters and based this off an already existing pony. And on top of that, all the creator does is change the skin colour and a few other things and then apparently 'That's art.' Ever heard of Copying? And they always deny the word copying and call it sharing or some shit.
One last reason why they are stupid, that is their so called "Love and tolerate" rule. But they fail to tolerate anti-bronies and constantly talk shit about them. We hate them for a reason, and they're so god damn ignorant. So ignorant to the point that they deny their miscomings, and call all their wrongdoings as "Some people, not all". I have seen that almost ALL bronies are assholes.

I'm sorry that you had bad experiences with bronies, as one myself I can tell you that's just a small minority who were weirdos even before ponies became a thing. There are just certain people who act that way in every fandom.
Obnoxious people will always be obnoxious so it's best to avoid/ignore them. Pony fans seem to be the loudest because it's newest hot thing right now. Something else will come out eventually and the weirdos will migrate to a new fanbase.

They will take every opportunity to go right up into your face and say "HEY! I'M A BRONY! EVERYONE LOOK AT ME!" and completely divert the conversation into focusing on HIM and him alone. I feel that they let their characters get the better of them. Like if someone pretends to be Rainbow Dash (AS IF THAT HASN'T BEEN DONE BEFORE) the person will be aggressive or whatever the hell she does. And if they pretend to be Fluttershy they will be calm sometimes and be fierce when told "you suck" or "your character sucks". The only real way they can protect themselves is by trolling the guy. Like I was arguing with a brony on a video, and I had enough and decided I would stop he decided to continue the conversation by saying some irrelevant **** to keep me coming back. However I left after that. All they have to do is admit their mistakes. But they don't, they keep changing the subject because they have no way of defending their fellow man. There was a time my furry friend's online boyfriend was cheating on him (Knowing furries, they would react strongly to this because they treat their friends like brothers, like real wolves) and he completely denied it and despite solid evidence was shown in his face he denied it and protected his boyfriend. That's the same deal with bronies, they're so ignorant that despite the truth shown in their face that they're lying and defending the fandom with a wall made out of air. That's pretty much all it is.
And that's another thing, ponification. Why do they have to ponify everything? It's like they feel it's necessity and that everything has to be turned into ponies. They feel that everything they do is right, and that's a major reason why they're ********. They see no wrongs, they only see rights. Everything they do is right. All the Rule 34 they make is right and not weird in any way, because it's 'special'. When I talk about them being dramatic about things, I mean REALLY dramatic, like it's a life changing, pillow biting moment. Even more dramatic then Grey's Anatomy! I quote from the MLP Official Steam group: "OMG Twilight is a trilacorn? is this going to change the show? are her friends going to change their views on her? OMG <3". Can you explain that? Because that doesn't make any sense whatsoever. It's a ******* kids show. Is Edd Ed and Eddy dramatic? No. Is Fairly Odd Parents dramatic? No. Think about it. What makes MLP so dramatic?
Again, I'm really sorry you've dealt with people like that. It's a show on par with Disney films that hits some people in a deep way. Some way more than others. My only advice is not to feed the trolls.

I am sorry, but you are mentally false. You think every brony is crap when you do realize that there's other fandoms that go blizzard. Not every Brony is an ***, There's alot that are not like that and do other things less pony. They talk about other shows than MLP weather it is other cartoons, anime, movies, etc. They draw other fan art than MLP. You're just over exaggerating. You're making yourself look like a ******. Please for god sakes, get over it and just ignore it. Never heard of sonicfags, why? Because they are not as big as Bronies. The reason in hate bronies so much is, in short, because they got big and famous, and still feel they're nobodies.
Revisiting your comment and reading it in-depth I won't kill myself over some stupid fandom, however it's the bronies that are killing themselves. I hope they all do eventually, as they have no place in society yet fight for acceptance. Fighting of course by making everyone hate them. No. They do not draw things other than MLP, they only draw MLP (very badly).
There is no worse fandom than bronies, they are the scum of the earth, they are socially awkward and obnoxious, and always try 24/7 to be liked when no one actually likes them. The only friend a brony will ever have, is another brony, because they share interests. But I don't like MLP, and it's come to the point I downright hate it because bronies completely ruined it for me. I might have accepted them if I didn't see how childish, immature and stupid they are, but of course, they shoved it down my throat, showing me they have nothing positive to say/do/create, other than **** stirring flame wars.

Another update, which only now have I just realised.
When someone talks bad about bronies, they automatically rush to attack him with pathetic memes and stupid logic.
For example, in an argument between an anti-brony and 2 other bronies, they say they're better than humans, yet they are humans after all. Another problem is they always whine and complain about not having any friends IRL which is because, if you aren't stupid, not everyone likes having MLP shoved down their throat.
