We are Alinor: The Eternal Paradise, an ‘Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’ modding project aiming to create the High Elf province of the Summerset Isles, now known as Alinor. We aim to bring you both the island of Auridon and mainland Alinor in a large worldspace. Varying biomes from coast to coast, with all manner of unique flora and fauna designed to feel unique, yet still feel like the Elder Scrolls world you know and love. We have been going strong for over 2 years, with around 100 active members in varying departments from 2D and 3D to writing and level design. Working with prominent Skyrim modding projects, we have designed our mod to be consistent with both the lore you’re familiar with and the lore you’re yet to be introduced to. We have been working hard to design, create, and implement the vast amount of unique assets that we have planned to do this region justice.

A lot of work goes into our project. Everything you see is the result of countless hours from all of our departments. Today, we wanted to shine a light on one of our 2D Artists, NickRiviera! Nick has been with us for a while, and he's provided some of the concepts we've shown off already, such as the Cobalic armour and weapon set!

Here's what Nick has to say-

"Hi, my name is Nicoló and I'm an Italian Illustrator and concept artist ,or at least that's what I'm aiming to be. Probably like many I've begun my journey in art school. Video games, table top and card games art has always fascinated me, more than how a game plays I was always captured by how the games feels. It's landscapes, characters, looks and more than anything the process on how to get there. It was indeed Skyrim that made me fall in love, the world was so vibrant, deep, its weapons and armors so peculiar, the vibe of its creature and inhabitants really woke my desire to know more of how such a world came to life and how its whole story lives. Since I needed to learn as much as possible on how to concept, on how to tell stories through my artwork I decided to join the Beyond Skyrim projects and it was really a blast. I've been working with them for 4 years now, joined several different projects, among which was Alinor. It was really a challenge with its peculiar Art style and "alien" overall mood. All these challenges helped me grow, learning from others and with others, working at a professional level with professional artists taught me much and helped me really get into the right direction to enter the world of concept art."

We're extremely appreciative of all of the talent on our team. As a volunteer project, we can't ask any more from our members than their passion and their time, and we can't wait to show you more from the individuals that make this project possible!
