You've reached the profile of AK151. How you wandered upon this profile, I do not know, and I sincerely apologize for your misfortune. Should you decide to stay and have a look around, you'll find writing (some decent, but most pretty bad), (mostly) failed experiments, and perhaps some music. You may also happen across some fo-Star Wars stuff, much of which I keep around as a lesson to myself in how to avoid being embarrassingly over-the-top and ridiculous. It exists primarily for the currently ongoing Star Wars role-playing group (yes, there is a somewhat-thriving Star Wars RP here, believe it or not). Anyways, enjoy your stay, have a nice day, and, as always, have fun!

Report RSS Star Wars: Origins- Part 3

This story is strictly NON-CANNON, and several liberties have been taken with it, including new planets and species, along with a few history changes. Please don't shoot me. Also, previous parts are in previous blog posts. Enjoy!
-------------------------------------------------
The Shadow Wing exited hyperspace at the Kayburr system. Aaron, still rage-filled, ran a scan of the area.

“Anything?” he asked the computer.

“Nothing conclusive. Scan is still underway.”

Aaron looked at the planet. It didn't look like his lush, natural world anymore. The surface looked fiery and inhospitable, and it seemed as if the planet was fractured in many places. “Run a scan of the planet. Something's not right.”

“Warning, seismic activity on the planet below increasing. Core temperatures are spreading out to other areas of the planet. Average temperature increasing. Warning, energy spike detected.”

Aaron got one last glimpse of his planet before it shattered into pieces, revealing the molten core. “What the hell...” Aaron gasped as his planet tore itself apart as the death throes of the core of the planet increased, splitting the planet more. Eventually, the core flashed a brilliant red, then it died. All that remained of Kayburr was an asteroid field. The planet had been destroyed.

“What... the HELL WAS THAT?” Aaron roared. Then, he had a flashback to his sister's last words: they're bombarding the planet with some kind of missile... it's ignoring the surface and drilling right through. I think... the missiles are gonna detonate at the core...

“Run... an analysis of the planet. Find out what the hell happened,” he told the computer.

“Readings taken before the core died indicate that a massive chain reaction from several explosions caused the core to collapse on itself. With the explosions increasing the temperature of the core to the temperature of a star, it began to melt the planet down. As it did, materials in the core and the other layers of the planet reacted with each other, causing violent tremors. With no structural integrity, the planet broke apart.”

“Who would do something like this? What could do something like this?”

“Unknown. Warning, scanners have detected seventeen fighter class vessels. Scans of cargo show several Kayburrian artifacts. The fighters are an unknown design of military fighter.”

Aaron looked at the fighters. They had two wide stabilizers which looked as if they could fold in and out. The center cockpit held two laser cannons for dogfighting. The ships looks relatively frail, and Aaron guessed that they were swarm ships, similar to the TIE Fighter. “They're looters,” Aaron growled, enraged, “they're making their fortune off of the dead remains of my planet! Set intercept course. Arm all weapon systems, and raise shields.”

“Combat alert initiated. Intercept course plotted. Shields raised. Weapon systems enabled. Warning: four weapon systems require piloted use to function. They are unable to fire without manual assistance.”

“Ignore them. You have ten other anti-fighter turrets. Use them.”

“Acknowledged.”

The ion engines of the Shadow Wing flashed as the ship accelerated towards the squadron. The fighters, realizing they were not alone, mobilized and advanced on the Shadow Wing.

“Computer, I am initiating free reign protocol on weapons and shields. Do what is necessary to destroy the fighters with minimum damage to our ship.”

“Acknowledged, taking control of weapons and shields. Firing range in ten seconds.”

“Fire on my mark.”

“Five seconds.”

“Prioritize targets.”

“Two seconds.”

“Lock on targets.”

“Firing range entered.”
“Fire everything!”

The Shadow Wing lit up as her weapon systems blazed, tearing apart four of the seventeen advancing fighters. The fighters' laser cannons lit up, blazing towards the Shadow Wing. Several shots hit, but the shields prevented any structural damage. The Wing closed in on targets, continuing on its path, destroying five more fighters. With eight fighters swarming around her, Aaron used the maneuvering thrusters to strafe the squadrons, continuing in one direction while firing in another. Three more fighters were destroyed by the laser cannons, and two were torn apart by the mass drivers. The remaining three came about and ran, realizing that the battle was lost. The Shadow Wing gave chase.

“Computer, lock missiles on target.”

“Missiles locked.”

“Fire.”

Three missiles accelerated out towards the fighters. One hit a glancing blow on one of a stabilizer of one fighter before exploding, sending the remains of the cockpit hurtling through space. One scored a direct hit on the cockpit of another, annihilating it. The final missile over shot, zooming past. However, the pilot, breathing a sigh of relief as he looked back at the Shadow Wing, failed to notice the missile as it used it's side thrusters to pull a 180 degree turn, colliding head on with the ship. There was the brilliant flash of the missile's explosion, then nothing. The fighters were destroyed. Aaron breathed a sigh of relief, then felt an overwhelming sense of sadness at the destruction of his home, his family, and his friends who he knew deserved better than what they got.

“Scans of the debris show a slight energy signature. Profile matches that of a portable datapad.”

Aaron's ears perked up. “Tractor it in. If it's still functioning, make necessary repairs then show it to me. It could have useful information, or maybe orders that could lead me straight to the capital ship.

“Understood. Tractor beam activating.”

The Shadow Wing's tractor beam activated, pulling in a datapad that was spared when one of the ships was torn apart by the kinetic impact of a mass accelerator that failed to detonate it's explosive warhead.

“Scans show that the datapad is intact and functional. Would you like to see it?”

“Yes,” Aaron relied. The datapad in question slid out of an alcove where the computer was running it's scans. Aaron activated it and grinned. It was orders for the squadron members. He read over it:

Take what you want from the planet, but after you're finished, go to Nar Shadda and meet with the Vaakra to assist them in transporting the package.

-LV

“Vaakra... why Vaakra?” Aaron groaned, remembering the conflicts he had had in the past with the assassin race. “And who the hell is LV? He's calling the shots, but who is he?” And what is the package? Time for answers, and a bit of killing if the Vaakra are involved. Computer, set course for Nar Shadda, best speed. It's time for payback.”

“Course plotted. Hyperspace jump in five seconds.”

The Shadow Wing jumped to hyperspace, and Aaron now had a new goal: not only to avenge his sister, but to avenge his planet. “I swear, with the force as my witness, that I will not rest until vengeance has been achieved. LV, who ever you are, I hope you have a good head start and a running streak, because you're going to need both. I swear it, on the remains of Kayburr, on the corpse of my sister and my brothers in arms. You. Will. Die.”

I have the part but I'm going to wait to release it because I want to take the time to allow people to actually read this part while it's on the front page.

He's a bit... special. A few liberties have been taken with him, but he's not some Malak-esque push-over. He knows what he's doing and he does it well. And he is the main villain. Not going to say any more.

Yay ^^. Btw, I hope he ain`t like Malak. Malak=Worst thing to come since Jar Jar Binks >.<. I would actually prefer Jar Jar Binks to Malak. Malak`s a Vader Wannebe.
