Currently working as product development in corporate banking sector, a way to raise funds for when I start a game development company, I also have a side business (network gaming cafe) and planning to open more diverse business to help raise funds, so for now I am just meeting new people and building contacts to discuss and share ideas as well as researching gaming engines for the first project, which will be in the genre of TBS or RPG in the style of King Bounty the legend, Heroes of might and magic, tower defense mode ,Disciples 3 and Arthur the role-playing war game (nothing definite of course, it could become FPS for all I know), So if you’re interested feel free to contact me or add me on MSN, more than happy to meet new people and discuses ideas.

All I can think and dream of lately is what engine to use, since most engines available for commercial use is focused on FPS or RPG, hard to decide how a strategy game will look like using those engines.
The one I’m yearning for is the Essence Engine 2.0 used in Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 2, I WANT those SynKills, but as far as I can tell its not for rent.
Any comments, ideas or suggestions, feel free to poke me.

P.S any one or you know someone doing/intersted in creating an engine from scratch or modifing existing one for the case i have mentioned above, let me know or contact me.

If you want an rts/rpg Glest's source code may work. Ive never played with the code myself but it may be worth a look at, glest.org/en/engine.php im a huge RTS/RPG fan so best of luck :)
