The mod is coming along quite quickly, the cars are definitely not the issue, the code is, the release date for the main mod all depends on when the code is finished. A car-pack will be released on it's own for the game where the cars cannot transform, have no weapons or special abilities what so ever. this is 0.1a.. 0.1b however! Will be a full-fledged Mod! The cars will be able to transform, have weapons, turbo boost, and much more! Estimated release for that mod is around late June, but the car pack will be out in a few weeks! So, fans, keep your pants on, the mod will be out soon! :D
