The Project: Currently Project Necromancer is set to be the first game in what is hoped to become a series. It will be fully 3d graphics and will be engine/programming heavy. The idea is simple, make the player REALLY feel like a necromancer. A full RPG with 1 class and no level system, where you progress through research rather than xp. A small world with only 1 town, but a world that reacts to what the player does and the choices they've made. A full GD document is already finished that you can view when applying before fully committing to the team. A time of completion is not yet possible to know as that depends on staff and funding.

Why Necromancy First?: There is a market for it. Look at how many people love the D2 necromancer, the old Baldur's gate, or even newer titles such as Iratus:Lord of the Dead, and KeeperRL. Even on the lower end of sales with rabid necromancer fans we are still looking at 100,000s of copies sold. People may not buy a game where the only class is a commonplace one like hunter or rogue, but necromancer is a niche enough that the fans of it buy just about every game that allows it.

Requirements for ALL Positions: You must be available at some point during the times of 7:00am-8:00pm Central Daylight Time as that is the only time frame the Lead Designer and Project Manager is available. You must be able to attend short meetings every two week. You must have a drive to eventually move to full time development and perform your role in game creation as a job rather than a hobby.

Long Term Plans: This is not meant to stay a free hobby project for ever. The current timeline plan is; form a working prototype that LOOKS GOOD. Start a kickstarter for the project. Depending on how well it goes we may move to a full company and file everyone as a full employee with salary pay so we can all quit our jobs. Same with an early access release and the full release. Seeking a publisher will be a subject of a team meeting and whether or not we should, or simply move forward with a kickstarter plan.

Artists: Both 3d modelers and 2d graphic designers are welcome. The Ideal look for the game would be somewhere along Dishonored but is subject to change with limitations that arise. We can't afford to be picky with free artists so if you've got skills you've more than likely got the job regardless of your style.
