cover art?
i've always wondered where those Chaos backpacks with the wide and high-mounted vents came from. they're not part of any of the original power armour suit variants, and this pic seems to be either Heresy-era or Great Scouring-era. in the case of the latter i find it unlikely that the Traitors would have had time to forge new backpacks so soon after the defeat on Terra, scattered and pursued as they were.
by the Emperor i need to stop nitpicking on small details
This pic can not be related to the Great Scouring era, because Jago was killed at the battle of Terra.
It's the cover art from Prince of Crows which is being made into a separate novella
