1: Make a shortcut Tiberium Wars shortcut
2: Right click it and go to "properties"
3: Now you have to add something in the "target" mask. After the path of the "CNC3.exe" type: [SPACE]-modconfig[SPACE]
4: Now you need the path of the TiberiumEssence.skudef-file that is supposed to be in your mods-folder for TW
4.1: Right-click the file, go to properties and copy the line that is called "Location"
5: Paste the path directly after the second [SPACE], make sure that the path is surrounded the these double apostrophs (I don't know the exact name) : "XYZ"
6: After this you are done with the "target" mask and you can save the shortcut, rename it and directly start TE with it.
P.S.: For all of you who worry with their "target", I'll show you mine as an example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Tiberium Wars\CNC3.exe" -modConfig "C:\Users\Wilhelm\Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Mods\TiberiumEssence\TiberiumEssence_1.4.skudef"
I hope you enjoy it

Thanks for posting this, very useful.
Maybe we'll get a shortcut in the next TE release along with it's own icon :)
Otherwise this guide will do just fine.
i have already made an .exe for 1.4 so the instant 1.5 comes out i will make an installable with:
Mod Files
Shortcut (Start-Menu Entry)
Uninstaller
I tried doing this before. It does not work for me, not for this, not for The Red Alert. However, they now made an own automatic installer for their mod, and it also installs a shortcut to launch it directly. Maybe thats something Tiberium Essence could do?
I tried to do this with ORIGIN's C&C Ultimate Collection and can't seem to get it to work. Surely there is a way to get mods working with this collection right?
how no instal if origin? help(((
sorry my bad english
the double apostrophes are called quotation marks or quote-unquotes btw
works with the fitgirl Dilogy version ?
