The Blu-Ray disc featuring the pilot episode "Rising" and the series finale "Enemy At the Gate" will be released on August 4.
Gatecon back for 2010.
After this year's absence, Gatecon 10 is scheduled to be held on the 8th through to 11th of July next year at the Sheraton Wall Centre in Vancouver, Canada. There have been no announcements on which Stargate cast or crew members will be attending.
Stargate Atlantis Season 5 DVD box set released in North America.
The final season of Stargate Atlantis was released on DVD in North America (Region 1) on the 30th of June. Those of us living in other parts of the world will have to wait a little longer: September 8 for Europe (Region 2) and July 31 for Australia, New Zealand and South America (Region 4). The 5-disc set promises to be one of the most feature packed releases, however there are not going to be bloopers this year.
There have also been rumours of a Stargate Atlantis Complete Series Collection release...time will tell.
Stargate Universe Cast to appear at Comic-Con San Diego.
Cast members Robert Carlyle, David Blue, Brian J. Smith, Alaina Huffman, Jamil Walker Smith, Elyse Levesque, Ming-Na and series creators Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper will be appearing for the Stargate Universe panel on July 24 at Comic-Con's 3-day San Diego convention.
