No, it was literally just a sharpened stick, and yes it hurt a lot at the time*... I think the doctor st the time said that I should have gone to the hospital and get 5 stitches to the wound but my parents were too distrustful of most medical stuff so they simply took me home instead. For some reason the wound managed to heal itself.
... I think I'm still mostly alright in the head.
*It was a Sunday behind a church and some of the older kids were fooling around with bows and arrows they made on the spot with materials at hand.
