This is an original map with a name based on Barad (meaning fortress or tower) and Ungol (spider), making the name suggest Spider's Fortress.
It is a siege map where 2 people must try to defend the fortress against 3 attackers. Almost all walls are indestructible, so you must take out a gate or find some wall not fully built to destroy.
It is important to note that AI will not work within the fortress at all. However, it has been made so that if anyone want to defend the fortress without aid that can be done, and all gates and buildplots of the missing player will be transferred to the solo player.

[06/09-16: Release date, and no balance testing has been done. It is a map meant for fun, so the players decide how that is achieved]

[07/09-16: Edited some on the eastern wall as well as adding and removing passability here and there (should improve pathfinding of units and AI). Also replaced a buildplot with a settlement]
[08/09-16: Made more changes to middle/easter wall as well as removing 1 buildspot for P1 (was a bit cramped on 2nd layer). Also added some cobwebs to the back to make it feel more like an abandoned fortress, as well as a new minimap and pic]

Very interesting, I'll test it out this week-end with my brother. We've been looking for a good 2 player fortress map.
I tend to just find interesting maps for BFME 2 and ROTWK on BFME2Haven and convert them to Edain or edit them in some way (as I think of my self as a bad landscape-maker and texturer in the worldbuilder). I also tend to update my maps a fair bit the first few days if I release them, just look in description for latest update (already 2 updates since your comment ;) )
Can we play with all of the fortress in solo against AI ?
Yes you can. There are scripts which gives you control of all the stuff from the "missing" player, so you can defend the fortress solo. Be warned though, as even though AI does not work inside the fortress, they are known to not work well outside either (in the fact that the chance of them making any siege at all is close to 0%). I will try to get AI working inside the fortress, but I doubt I will manage to pull it off :(
Edit: To get any challenge vs AI and their tendencies not to make siege, I suggest opening 1 of the gates (when against AI on fortress maps I tend to call them floodgates, as the AI will flood in when they're open)
Thanks, I do the same things when I play on fortress maps like Dale. A shame your map isn't a good fortress map with so many building pot I would like to play Gondor or Rohan inside, instead I choose Mordor or Isengard.
I do have plans of revising the buildplots for player 1, but as it is a map just meant for fun playing with 5 people I will find other stuff to do instead first (like beautyfication)

fun fact: he wanted to make barad dur but couldn't retexture the walls et, al. to look like it so used cirith ungol stuff instead hence the name barad ungol.
It seems you are misinformed my dear RuudDevil. I did indeed plan for Barad Dûr in the beginning (as the base map I took from went for that), but the main design of the base, as well as no walls being the wanted texture (unless I'd layered the current walls with Dol Guldur walls or something). Basically it just didn't fit for Barad Dûr
