Post tutorial Report RSS How to add custom sounds to Crysis

adding custom sounds to Crysis is easy, convert an audio file to mp2 file format.

Not sure if anyone else has tried this, after a lot of trial and error I found this can be done easily by converting an audio file to .mp2 file format and copying it into a new folder in crysis\game\sounds. You may or may not have to extract the sounds.pak to the sounds folder in \game, likely you can just add the sound to a new folder in the sounds.pak file and it will probably work just as well.
