Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. Movie goes 3D
Kenji Kamiyama and Production I.G's Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society just announced that GITS: SAC movie will be converted into stereoscopic 3D.
Kamiyama (director) himself is overseeing the conversion, and I.G will also add a brand new opening sequence.
The movie will premiere at March 26, 2011.

Ika Musume
Shinryaku! Ika Musume official blog for the television anime series just announced that the 5th and 6th DVD's will include "Mini Ika-Musume" side-story episodes.
On the original series: "The sea in our world has been polluted. All sorts of trash were thrown into the sea, making it unpleasant deep under the sea. One of the inhabitants of the sea, Ika Musume (Squid Girl) seeks to exact revenge on humanity for throwing trash into the sea. Clueless about the surface, she seeks to invade humanity alone, trying to rule over the world, only to find herself slaving away at one of the nearest beach-houses for breaking a side of its wall." Blue Exorcist
The official site of Jump Square announced that Blue Exorcist manga received green light for the production of the anime adaptation.

Hellsing Director Umanosuke Iida Passes Away
Jun Kamiya, anime director, reported on his Twitter account on Saturday that fellow director Umanosuke Iida had passed away.
Umanosuke Iida had directed the Hellsing, Tide-Line Blue, Mighty Space Miners, and CB Chara Nagai Go World anime projects. He had assumed the directorial reins of Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team after the first director of that anime, Takeyuki Kanda, passed away suddenly during production.
Iida also drew storyboards for The Big O, Birdy the Mighty Decode, Brave King GaoGaiGar Final Grand Glorious Gathering, Cowboy Bebop, Gin Rei, and Shangri-La.

Imageepoch, Japanese game developer announced that the anime studio ufotable will be animating sequences in Black Rock Shooter The Game.
"The story is set in 2051, 19 years after alien "Apostles" launched a war that reduced mankind to just 12 survivors.
The ultimate weapon, Black Rock Shooter, awakens to face off against the seven Apostles and their countless mecha."
The game story is beign written by Kazushige Nojima (Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children) the scenario based on huke's original story and character designs.
The game is scheduled for 2011 Summer for the Sony PSP portable.

Huke should be more targeting for the anime instead the game, or BRS will be stayed as a "Miku derive" instead an OC.

<3 Black★Rock Shooter game, how about a series though?
BLACK ROCK SHOOTER, YES!
It's likely we see more movies or evan an anime series (with luck, something around the game storyline), but for now it's an action game (not a DDR game), which i might say it's actually a good idea, and looking at the main story writer, i'm sure we can expect a WIN game.
Unfortunaly, don't expect a localized version of the game (at least there is no info of it right now (unless i missed it)), but with luck, depending on how the files will be encrypted, we might see a fan made translation hack (like for Project Diva 1st and 2nd).
And on a personal note: When something is actually good, we better leave it as it is, so it remains good, and not some senseless crap. (i'm still looking to see more BRS tough :P)
Thanks for the great Hellsing series Umanosuke Iida! You will be misssed.
