Description
INS Vikrant (R11) the first carrier of the Indian Navy and the only surviving WWII era British Aircraft carrier was finally sold for scarping by the Indian Navy after a 18 year long attempt to preserve it as a museum.
She likely the oldest military ship to scrapped, being almost 71 years old by the time of her scraping.
This is an aircraft carrier. Has little to do with actual aircraft.
But it is a really important post, and it carries aircrafts ;)
A battleship has little to do with aircraft, not a carrier.
Poor ship. She deserved better.
