The Bard's Tale IV is being created on the 30th anniversary of the original Bard's Tale, and will bring back classic party-based, first-person role-playing. With Brian Fargo among its original creators, the legendary Bard's Tale series was an instant success and has become a classic. As a member of the Computer Gaming World Hall of Fame, as well as being featured in the Smithsonian's "The Art of Video Games" exhibit, The Bard's Tale series was instrumental in defining the role-playing genre.
