Rktcr ("rocket car") is a physics-based action-platformer-turned-puzzle-platformer; that is, it's an action game meant to be played thoughtfully at much slower than real-time. Rktcr is played in a side-view world consisting of zones linked by portals. The goal of the game is to construct a journey that collects the 14 gems scattered throughout the world and returns to the start portal as quickly as possible. Players can pause, rewind, and slow time in order to carefully perfect each segment of their journey.

Demo zero of Rktcr is now available for download. Give a try; and once you do, please let me know what you think.

This is the first wide release of Rktcr, and it gives me the chance to hear from you -- the rest of the world -- what you think is good (and not so good) about the game. Get your feedback in now, instead of spending eternity complaining on forums!

Doesn't work on OSX 10.6 apparently. :/

Unfortunately, it's 10.7+ only; I blame Apple's poor backward compatibility with libc++ and/or my enjoyment of C++11 features not available in earlier compilers.
