Sony has uploaded some new gameplay footage of Guerrilla Cambridge's VR-exclusive mech combat game, RIGS Mechanised Combat League. The footage comes out of PlayStation Experience 2015, and highlights some in-cockpit combat and sports-like arena action.

In an interview at E3 last year, Guerrilla Cambridge described RIGS as a competitive combat game that fuses a number of different sports: "...There’s elements of motorsport, shooting, basketball and others that come together to create this combat league where the rigs are the heroes ... We’ve taken elements from real sports that create tension, when it’s all on a knife-edge; the last minute goal, the saves and blocks – we’re inspired by the games that give you those moments."

The rigs themselves are player-controlled mechs which are controlled with the DualShock 4 gamepad, while aiming is accomplished by looking around with the PlayStation VR headset. No release date for RIGS has been announced, but the game is being developed exclusively for PlayStation VR.
