Psychonauts is not a flawless game. The controls are wonky, the difficulty curve is weird, the graphics are passable, and some of the levels are weaker than others. However . . . when I think of my experiences playing the game I have to force myself to think of any negatives, and when I think of my favorite gaming moments ever parts of Psychonauts positively leap to mind. It would be impossible to discuss what makes Psychonauts so wonderful without spoiling some of the magic; when a game as unique and imaginative as this is around all that can be done is to play it and experience it for yourself.
