MyWorld is a 2D mmorpg that breaks the current stereotypical genre by furthering the horizons. MyWorld aims to have a depthful world, creating a compelling history. Languages, migration, culture, history, Alchemy, farming, evolution, a large range of weapons and armour related to the development of their perticular species, Myworld is a World in itself - featuring around 4000 "known" species of fauna and flora and a fully-detailed planet, from tectonic plates to weather patterns to erosion and deforestation. MyWorld will be throwing out the classic "you levelled up!" and "classes" system, and introducing a more intricate system. You will no longer have to make the choice between sword, stealth and magic. Instead, practice your swordsmanship whilst throwing a fireball or two and become what you desire your character to be. MyWorld will allow you to customize your character, such as their "portrait".

Post news Report RSS Official Postponement and Project Earth

Well, ModDB has just verified Project Earth's page this morning, so this will be the final news piece on MyWorld, till further notice.

Well, this is the final announcement for MyWorld that it will be postponed till further notice.

Meanwhile, I'll be working on Project Earth, which can be found here.

I do intend to continue MyWorld someday, but not until I have enough money, or a trustworthy number of programmers on the team, to relaunch it and have it actually become something.

For those that don't know, MyWorld's website was shut down due to foul play on the webhost's part, to save them a little bandwidth. This resulted in the loss of the entire WikiCerria (5000+ pages). I still have a backup of the site's design, including the forum, so it's not a complete loss.

So, this is a temporary farewell to MyWorld, who's development thus far shall be stored away on a disc (or three), until the day it comes to fruitation! My thanks to all the people who have supported me on this most excellent endeavour; I hope to see you again in Project Earth!

If not... Oh well.

See you on project earth! =D
Good luck and that Cerria is revived one day. =)
