Maia is a space colony management simulator, set in a 70′s sci-fi future where mankind is finally taking the giant leap to extra solar colonization. Heavily influenced by nineties god games, the game will have a dark sense of humour and a deep level of complexity, offering something engaging for casual and hardcore players alike. The player must mine out an underground base to escape the hostile surface of the planet, and focus on keeping the colonists safe, sane, fed and happy. Featuring its own bespoke engine, the game simulates hundreds of dangers and resources; from fluids such as Lava and water, realistic lighting, atmosphere and vacuums as well as intelligent alien fauna that learns.
