You know, one thing you don't expect is just how intense mapping an area can be. It's not just that you have to design the layout... you have to fill it. Human beings don't live in empty worlds and very often I see RPG maker games where the houses just don't look 'lived in'. I've tried to avoid that, but only time will tell if I've been successful.
So as of today I've reached the end of mapping the first haunting level. Now I have to start scripting the events and conversations. Once that's complete I'll consider that the end of the first 'alpha demo'. Hopefully it lives up to my expectations.
