This mod changes all the colors of agent 47's clothing to black. It also removes the barcode from his head and adds black gloves when on disguise (a version without gloves on disguise is included).
Before modifying files concerning any game, remember that it's recommended to backup it or them, in case you want in the future to recover anything, another option of course being to manually modify the name of the file/s you don't want to be replaced before adding mods.
To use, locate Hitman Contracts' installation folder (or the folder from which Hitman Contracts is launched).
0. Regarding versions, HMC_Hitman_01a points out to the fact of the tga being of 512x256 resolution, while HMC_Hitman_01b is 1024x512 (this size is only accepted by Glacier TEX Editor when replacing the tga of the same name inside MainMenu.ZIP or any tga of the same size in any .ZIP found inside the installation folder). The specification -basedon""texres- means that the modification was made using (or starting and ending the edition on) that image resolution or version. Ngd and gd is abbreviation of no gloves disguise/gloves disguise. A relevant observation in allusion to the "gloves disguise" version; is that on level Asylum Aftermath, the visible clones inside vaults almost at the beginning of the level, will appear with gloves too (aside of the player), given that their models are based on agent 47's one.
1. You'll need Glacier TEX Editor v3.9 Beta 3 which you can download here.
Locate the level's MAIN.ZIP (e.g. C01-1_MAIN.ZIP) you want to modify 47's texture on inside the game's installation folder and open it with Glacier TEX Editor.
Search for HMC_Hitman_01a (you may need to use the Prev. and Next buttons) and click on it, then using the import button replace it with the version you want included in this mod.
Now update the file clicking the Update ZIP button.
As long as the updated MAIN.ZIP file is in the correct place, 47's texture should have changed. Repeat the process for HMC_Hitman_01b on file MainMenu.ZIP.
Any question, ask. Enjoy.
Tools used and special thanks: Glacier TEX Editor v3.9 Beta 3, Photoshop CS4.
