Heroes of Loot is an action roguelike in Orangepixel style. We stripped out all the fluff we don't like about rogue-likes or dungeon crawlers, and took the awesome stuff like loot, leveling, magic, setting, and added our own twisted challenging action

Adding keyboard+mouse controls and twin-stick controller support, heroes of loot get's a second life on Steam for Windows, Mac and Linux gamers

Posted by on

This coming Tuesday (May 26th) Heroes of Loot lands on a new platform : Steam!

Heroes of Loot's Steam page.

The game has been available for windows, mac and linux before, but I've been putting a lot of time into updating and enhancing the game for PC gamers. This updated version comes with proper manual aiming using either your mouse, or the 2nd stick on your controller.

It turns the game into an even better experience as you can now target the creatures you think are more dangerous, instead of hoping the computer picks the right one for you.

On top of that, the game comes with all the stuff that makes Steam so great. So there finally is a global leaderboard available, a bunch of achievements to unlock, and Steam trading-cards/badges/icons and profiles are collectable.

Everyone who already bought the game from the Orangepixel website through the Humble Widget or Humble Store will receive a matching steam key on Tuesday, so you can enjoy all the extra sweet stuff ;)

So I hope you'll join me on the leaderboards next week!
