Green Nation. Make your way through a maze of enemy plastic army men in this remake of the PlayStation 1 Army Men series. You are a soldier of the Green Nation. You are one green toy army man faced with the threat of the Tan Nation's invasion. What do you do? Where do you hide!? No where!! You attack them where it hurts, everywhere! Armed with a small but rather diverse arsenal, you will take on the enemy head on...
Green Nation is back! meaning more plastic fun! Development is re-opening for Green Nation and we are looking for More help! If you think that you could lend a helping hand feel free! As long as your help is free! ;) Green Nation was never intended to be developed any further than a simple storyline, but it is now apparent that it has more potential than thought before, meaning that content and knowlege can be brought over from Iron Fist and Into Green Nation, making it better than ever!

Some good stuff here thus far. Looking forward to the final release. Any chance this could get into consoles or mobile devices?
Good points:
+Consistent visuals that are suitable for the whole soldier theme;
+A good engine that will work well with the gameplay;
+Nice animations and models;
+Cool weapons (could do with a knife and some kind of heavy machine gun or grenade launcher);
Bad points:
-Too many assets are taken from Sauerbraten. I would definitely replace the pain sound with something clearer and add more variety to the gun sounds;
-Maps could look more interesting. How about using the Tesseract mod for the Cube 2 engine? It will set your game apart from the others. You can find some awesome GPL compatible models here: Opengameart.org;
-AI is quite buggy and the troops clip on the scenery too much;
How about making some really open maps with trenches and things like that? Army Men: Sarge's Heroes has open maps.
Overall, it looks pretty cool. Good job so far. :D
Yah, I know... I was only trying to fuse the theme into sauerbraten to get what we have here. I even have a full scale map detailed with an entire layout of how I planned on having the main Base. Perhaps I will continue development, but for now I'm working on Iron Fist and until I get a better understanding of the cube engine I'll stick with what I have here. The cube build is old and will have to be replaced. Thank you again!
Very nice work. The video is GREAT! A lot of work has been put into this project and its looking really good.
I'm guessing you guys are using the open source Quake 3 engine?
I would love to see more screenshots..
Great work on the models, textures and weapons... Keep em coming
Thanks! I've ended development in favor of Iron Fist. This was only sopposed to be a small project, but I have wanted to expand into more gameplay options... For now its dead, but will consider developing it, if I get help...
Thanks for the kind comments! No, we are using the Cube 2 engine. It says so on the right. Actually at this time there isn't much us in this project, I did this at the age of 15 in high school for fun. I haven't done much work on it for a while. I just don't have any more ideas. But I am thinking of a full single player campaign and new weapons and updated physics. But other than that not much is to be done.
I will make the icon later, so do you like it so far ?
I love the work so far! I like how defined the images are! I had forgotten of the Green Nation and set it aside for about 2 years but I decided that I could put it here and get some attention. Now that Ive found others who like it, I've decided to work on the project again. If there is anyone who feels that they could do the code work for the game, Ill be more than happy to work with them on it. I could provide any code needed to do anything to get the ball rolling. Since I have been working on Iron Fist for so long, I haven't had much Time for GN, but I cant help but wonder how far I could take this game. Other than my rambling, Yes, I love your work so far!
How about mirrors?
Im not sure how to upload any here, but heres a link for you: Sourceforge.net
I could upload it for you (tommorrow though) :)
Thats cool. I was wondering: How could Revelade Revolution have mirrors on their page?
