A 3D indie RPG with old-school flavor and a tongue firmly planted in its cheek. Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon features turn-based combat, over a hundred spells (mostly upgradable), over 80 skills (feats), dozens of monsters, and 30+ hours of gameplay. It also features new innovations like the Drama Star system to provide an incentive to play through setbacks rather than reloading, and a detailed trap-disarming / lockpicking mini-game. Now available for Windows XP and above.

It's small drop, but it's permanent. Frayed Knights has a new price. Enjoy.

Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon has enjoyed a small, but permanent, price reduction. Because it's September. And because I'm getting kind of excited about the sequel, now in production.

Frayed Knights is a hardcore, old-school style, first-person perspective, true 3D role-playing game. Filled with probably way too many spells (over 100 base spells, most with around five variant "upgrades"), too many items (almost 200!), too many level-up options (over 80 feats to choose from each time you level up!), and a metric buttload of monsters scattered across sixteen "dungeons", five wilderness areas, and a town full of intrigue.

Fortunately, it doesn't take itself too seriously. Neither do you. Because it is stuffed so full of options, Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon doesn't require you to be the hardest of hard-core power gamers to win. Yeah, some battles may get challenging, but it does not require a fully optimized party to be victorious 30+ hours later. So you can feel free to experiment.

Have fun!
