Matt Barton, author of Dungeons & Desktops, interviews Jay Barnson about post mainstream projects (Twisted Metal, Warhawk, Jet Moto, etc.), RPG design and inspiration, and most importantly his newest game, the old-school style, comedy RPG Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon.

Part 1 mainly discusses "ancient history" - Jay's work on the early Playstation games, Twisted Metal, Warhawk, and Jet Moto, and what it was like making games back in the early days of the "32-bit" console revolution. Towards the end, they discuss Jay's latest game - quite a departure from the early action games - the turn-based, old-school-inspired, humorous RPG, Frayed Knights: The Skull of S'makh-Daon.
