Hello mutants!
As you can see our team has grown. We finally found another FOnline mapper who is currently finishing Twin Mothers area. TBS joined us to help with SPECIAL and overall gameplay changes. He'll also contribute as a designer for one area.
We found a professional VO actor for our intro, end game slides, and perhaps a talking head or two.
And now for something unexpected! During our last Skype session, the team came up with the following idea - the player can play the game as either a ghoul or a super mutant! I personally can't wait to try out something different for a change.
I've been very busy making new art lately. Because there is so much of it, I'm sleeping no more than 5 hours a day. But that is the price I have to pay if I want to deliver! Currently, my game installation folder is already over 3 Gb but still there's much to be done.
P.S. We are looking for people that know how to make isometric game scenery or 3D movies.

This sounds amazing, I really can't wait to see some of the work that's been put into this game, I understand that crafting and special hand to hand moves were going to be included in VB, is this still something you're looking at doing?

As for the crafting - it's already in! When you talk about special HTH moves are you referring to animations or special attacks like in FO2?
I recall seeing some mod which allows to make the active character a super mutant. Needs checking. As for the progress, good to hear!
Can you choose to play as a Human, Ghoul, or Super Mutant? will they have different stories, or situations? could be incredible if so, seems like something Van Buren was going for
Yes, when you create a character you will choose to be either a human, a ghoul or a super mutant.
you will get different responses based on your race. I'm not 100% sure if the main story will change depending on your race because in the original story you can have super mutant and ghoul companions and the story remains the same regardless of that fact. Perhaps some main story quests will be solved differently but we'll see what the writers come up with! I'll keep you updated!
I think it would be great even if it only affects minor situations, for example if your a ghoul/human and you come across a BOS group, they are sure to let the Human leave for the most part unharmed, they will harass the ghoul albeit probably non-aggressively, and if a super-mutant showed up, they'd be sure to cause trouble, maybe even open-fire on him immediately.
Even slight changes like that would be perfect IMO.

will there be vehicles in the game, like in the original van buren project?
Yes - trains, trucks, cars, motorcycles and three special vehicles you will use during the main story ;)
