Hi guys, i am Roma and a developer of a game called Darkness Anomaly. It's an open world horror game i've been working on solo for over three years now. ​ Right now, i would love to have a proper team to help me out with the development. Which is pretty far by now and i am aiming for a Kickstarter campaign and also some publisher deals. Thats why i would need a few people to develop this project and make an amazing team!

About the project: It is developed with the Cryengine 5.4 and i am aiming to release it for the following
plattforms. Steam, GOG, XBOX One, eventually VR (The game works pretty well with it, but it depends on the funding).

WHAT IS DARKNESS ANOMALY?
Darkness Anomaly is a horror / survival game with a deep story, comprehensible characters and exciting gameplay. The story begins in a small town in the states. "Kingdom Valley" is the name of the city, where cruel killings happen and the local police department finds no other way out to turn to the FBI.
From the nearby FBI district an agent named "Nick Revees" is sent to the small town "Kingdom Valley.
When he arrives there, he finds out that there was a ritual and "something" was summoned.
According to some rumors, it is supposed to be a sect, which is going to bustle in the city and commit seven more murders. Darkness Anomaly is a horror game with a strong focus on story and character development. In addition, was also heavily based on elements such as puzzles, exploration and shooter.
The player controls the main character Nick in the "First Person" and controls it by a visually very appealing, realistic, open 3D world, which places a strong focus on a natural atmosphere.
Here, visual impressions, sounds and an emotional soundtrack unite to a special experience.

At the beginning, the player does not know anything about the other counterparties. He knows nothing about the cultural background or the views of both factions. He only knows that there is murder cases to solve.
These are brought to the player during the game and implemented in the game. Insofar as they understand the story and the motivation of the player. The tasks of Nick will be.
To stop Aaron and to solve the seven cases. The basic element of the story is to see yourself and the main characters grow bit by bit and break. Find the motives and experience the possible consequences through the decisions of the main character. With each chapter, section, scene, a fraction of the whole is revealed.
Darkness Anomaly is not just a horror game. It is a game with a moving story; a story that matters because it depicts sensitive issues. As an artist / developer, I want to convey a message through this medium that is important to me. Through my game, you will walk the path of those who have been affected by violence, alcohol abuse, bullying, suicide. The impact such abuse has on the psyche of a child is unmeasurable.
And yet, it happens every day in this world and the reasons and motifs are as complex and deep as the people who are affected by them. Victim or perpetrator, witness or accuser - more often than not we feel we know the difference between right or wrong.But the truth is always more complicated than it seems. Nothing is ever just black or white.Yes, Darkness Anomaly is a horror game. But it’s also so much more, as it gives me the opportunity to trespass into unknown territory; to present an immersive experience that makes you live through the story rather than standing by and watch.

Why am i posting here? And whats my budget?
There is none, i am looking for people who are willing to work for free. (I know how it sounds, as a former graphic designer). But i've been working my ass off solo for as said over three years now and invested a hell of a lot so there simply no budget left. It is selfspeaking that we can handle a deal with copartnership and part revenues. Thats why i am looking for talented people here who wants to build something really cool!

What i am doing on this project?
I cover almost anything in this game, from coding, 3D design, level and game design to sound and writing.
You can amazing how much it can suck to do everything alone.

So, about the game. It's not like i've been doing nothing for this time.
It's a whole open world builded and a first alpha test was also done which was let's played by many people and who really liked it. But a lot of work is waiting to make it perfect.
