New in Cellblock Squadrons 2.1
Fixes several unspecified bugs.
New in Cellblock Squadrons 2.0
* Asteroid Fields
Battles are no longer without obstacles- start one on the outskirts of an asteroid field, or take it deep within.
* New Top Pilot changes.
Version 2.0 introduces some dramatic changes to the Top Pilot system. Becoming the best in your squad is now all about score, and not about damage dealt to an enemy. All Top Pilots must deal with a new challenge- loosing score for taking damage, if they wish to be leader of their squad once again.
* Top Pilot rewards.
Thought the normal fighters were a little generic? Now, all Top Pilots have exclusive access to five completely new advanced fighters, which support such things as beam, missile and ramming-shield technologies.
* Top Pilot indicators.
Rank indicators on the HUD now display the status of a pilot in their squad- and whether a player has enough score to finish the mission as the Top Pilot.
* Plasma leaks for all large ships.
Medium, large and unique ships now display an impressive plasma leakage as they take damage.
* Additional targeting for all small ships.
Your HUD now displays a targeting assist when fighting against both fighters and small enemy vessels, to help deal with their speed.
* Enemy fighters.
While most space games could do with some larger ships, we could only get smaller with our creations, and added in enemy fighters that meet your squad head on. They're fast, efficient, and not to be taken lightly!
* Behind view camera controls.
Enjoy a more dynamic behind view, and control just how dynamic you want it to be.
* Special use bars functionality.
Special bars can now either display recharge time, special weapon uses remaining, or how a weapon is overheating. This can be seen in context for each ship's special ability.
* Fixes, balancing and other adjustments.
Upgrades to enemy vessels, adjustments to the HUD and various other refinements are just a few of the 'behind the scenes' changes to be found in 2.0.
* Changes to the Barracuda.
As requested by the community, the Barracuda's special nanite repair has been limited- now only repairing an additional 100% of its hull integrity, at any time, thanks to its use bar.
