as I understand it, this replaces the "number 6" character model, but from the first person he looks like an ordinary alien

This model is incompatible with the Alien Hud's skeleton. I already tried. It is extremely buggy because of the animations.

However, this does use Alien Hud all the time. If you notice you no longer will see your praetorian body in shadows in later parts of the campaign.

In order to actually match them, i recommend just changing the colors of the textures to match if this is a concern for you.

Jungle Alien's texture is almost the same as the regular aliens but it has a different UV mapping. It simply means it is difficult/ infeasable to simply substitute.

A Coloring and Normal for the hud is the best solution for all of this.

I might speak with GECO about this to make it a thing. If they don't wish to do it though ill still go ahead and do this at some point. It's simply some recoloring and some other details I think.

As an after thought, i think people in multiplayer wont be able to see their praetorian body in the shadows if this mod is loaded, even if they are a praetorian.

This is a minor detail but it is because of the inclusion of the alien hud swap in this mod. I think i might remove it from this mod and upload it as a standalone for this reason .

The only way i can truely modify these specific meshes to support alien hud's skeleton is to reimport a custom made mesh and skeleton with animations for it. I can achieve this but i need to further develop my C++ 'classes' for taking an OBJ file and creating an Asura Mesh / Asura Hierarchy Anim / Asura Hierachy Skeleton out of them. This is feasible for me to do in the near future. At this time those classes are only partially implemented into my future tool i am releasing. I already have a COMPLETE archive handling and creation / chunk creation and edit / hashing so far and I am currently working on directly dumping meshes and some other goodies from an archiv. Trolop made a model viewer and map viewer that does this already but its kinda janky. Only dumps. Doesnt do mesh creation. works off of specifically named folders. so its pretty touchy to use.

it's the first time i have downloaded mods for this game, it got mixed up with Ivory Aliens, but just in first person. how do i fix that?

It would appear that the ivory aliens mod has some of the textures included with this mod.

The ASR's / AVP mods that you load in your LST file, they are loaded FIFO ( First in, First out )

Basically, whatever mod comes first, it uses that data and ignores "copy" data that is found in later loaded mods.

So what that means is :

Load my mod first if you want Ivory's first person stuff to be replaced with what i provided.

Damn! it's cool! thanks! Can you replace enemy warrior to ridged or Dome alien? or is it possible random spawn various xenos?

Yes, Random spawn of xenos is possible. Even setting what is spawned and where it spawns.. but at this time would require me to distribute a full mission asr which average about 100 - 450mb a piece, with custom entity and smsg chunks in them.

Awesome, do you think you could change the hag queen with the other queen model? I know the hag queen only appears in a few scenes but it would be awesome to see the younger queen model be used, I would do it myself but if tried doing this a few times but never be able to get the fuke.dat file.

Fuke.dat?? hmm.. I'm assuming you're using one of trolop's things for either quick BMS or the archive extractor.

the quick bms script i uploaded will handle all of the asr/pc/en etc files you will find inside of the AvP folder + Do sniper elite 5.

Doesn't matter the compression on the archive as i have accounted for them. So that will work in getting you your temporary file. (Fuke.DAT is also temp-file generated, just renamed to that)

You might find that its a little more involving than just simply swapping models. Its more like swapping the model, swapping animations, swapping bones, marketpoints, LOD activators, and lovely Materials. all each have individual chunks for. Materials you will need to parse with C++ to dump material response entries of the materials found. Once that is done ( in order to avoid conflictions of materials) to uniquefy your dumped material entry with the model. Doing all of this will basically solve all the issues you will get with doing model swaps.

I like to refrain from uploading a ton of model swaps because of this reason. Mainly just conflictions.

HOWEVER. I can probably look into doing that swap when i get to doing some alien mods ( i also want to swap prae or something
)

if been trying stuff with asuraengine, to see if I can find a different metod then trolop's but everytime I try to change the hag queen model for the hologram queen model I get a warning saying something along the line of access violation at adress something something something the files im trying to change are the RSCF files which I believe are the meshes with rigs right?.
