Drive a Virtual Bike through a park in VR. App was designed to work with an encoder that converts exercise bike pedaling to movement but also works with a joystick and the vive controllers. One of the controllers will have a laser coming out of it. Aim this controller where you want the bike to go. There are about 7 miles worth of virtual trails to explore.

Take a tour of a virtual forest on a bike. Explore open spaces, canyons, rivers and a lake. Multiple paths and 7 miles worth of trails await you.
Installation
Extract the Zip file and run the VR Biking.exe file.
Controls
Keyboard:
W, S: pedal forward and backward
A, D: steering left and right
R, F: gear shift up or down
V: brakes
G: reset
Game controller
A(1): brake
X,B (2, 3): gear shift up and down
Y (4): Reset
Left stick: pedal, steering
HTC Vive controller
Menu button: reset:
Pad click on top: gear up,
Pad click on bottom: gear down
Steering: aim the controller with the laser pointer to where the bike should go
Pad touch: pedal forward or backward, depending on where your thumb is on the pad.
Playing VR Biking
After starting the game put on your VR headset and select the controller to use. Once your VR headset is on press the reset button on the controller. This will “calibrate” your VR space such that you’re now riding the bike. You can now start exploring.
VR Biking is best coupled with an exercise bike for simulating the biking experience. If you have a Bluetooth joystick encoder for your bike that allows pedaling for input that will make the experience more authentic.
There are several paths available on the map. All paths are open to explore in any direction. If you get stuck or crash your bike you can use the reset button to reset. This will drop you at the nearest respawn point, which are indicated by the green bicycle icon.
