Hey there, thank you so much for this update, really appreciate this!
Do you know what setting within the unit files which cause them to disappear when they're too far away? Is it LOD or another settings?
The same issue with scenario objects as well, covers and buildings will disappear when the camera is too far away, but some buildings like the HQ will always remain in sight, so there gotta be a setting for this
I'm not the author, but can confirm its the LOD. However, it would require a huge effort to manually edit the LOD settings for each unit / object model etc.
Update: Might not be the LOD. Must be something else.
There's two ways to do this:
1) Conventional way is to add extra / infinite resources but gives players and AI too.
2) Another way is more serious coding, which will check if for only players and give them extra resources (or AI if you prefer).
Much harder to do either way and they both break online multiplayer compatibility unless you and your friends have the same mod files.

Is it possible to add extra or infinite resources for this mod and only for the player if possible
